The firm was founded in 1988 and has grown from strength to strength since then.

Jacques Van Staden has been practising for his own account since 1988.  In 1999 the firm was transformed into an incorporated company in order to give more flexibility and freedom to our employees and management team in our operations.

The main and long term objective of the firm is to become a firm of attorneys focusing on niche markets, such as commercial, corporate and residential property, in the legal profession and by doing so establishing ourselves as specialists in these fields.  In order to be in a position to achieve this objective it was, and still is, of vital importance to us to be diverse in our way of thinking as well as our way of management.

Our office is situated in Meyersdal , Alberton and we have satellite offices in Johannesburg and Pretoria where we are able to assist clients with signing if required. The amenities surrounding our office include, inter alia, the offices of the South African Revenue Service, the Greater Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, the Tshwane City Council, the Johannesburg and Pretoria Deeds Registries, the various High Courts in Johannesburg and Pretoria, Masters’ Office in Johannesburg and Pretoria, the Company’s office as well as the head offices of all the financial institutions in the Gauteng region.

What sets us apart from our competitors is our ability to register bulk sectional title developments (including the first transfers to end users of more than 100 transfers simultaneously) as well as similar bulk registrations of free hold developments in the deeds office registries.

We are currently on the panel of all the major banks, Standard Bank, First National Bank, FNB Housing, Nedbank, ABSA Bank, HIP and SA Home Loans and our strong relationship with the various banking institutions makes it very easy to assist our developers in obtaining the necessary finance for the properties being built and to transfer these properties and attend to the registration of the mortgage bonds to end users.

We have become leaders in our fields and our client base is broad. We do not only provide services to the “man on the street” but also to small/large development or commercial companies.

Our Staff:

The balance of our staff compliment consists of 20 staff members ranging from Conveyancing paralegals, support staff, receptionist, bookkeeper, messenger, personal assistants, signing officials, candidate attorney/s and the like.

– Bond Registrations and Cancellations
– Corporate and Commercial Conveyancing

Sherene is further responsible for the firm’s service relationship with numerous clients and institutions and dedicates a vast amount of her time to training, monitoring and the managing of staff. Sherene has a passion for what she does which is clearly visible in the day to day administration of her duties.

Lukas Meyer Klopper, B.Comm; LLB

Professional Assistant who runs and manages our Litigation Department with specialisation in property related litigation including, but not limited to;

– Collections
– Foreclosures
– Evictions
– Re-structuring of Loan Agreements
– PIP’s
– Liquidations and sequestrations

“Meyer” is a young, dynamic, up and coming attorney who has proven to be knowledgeable and innovative in resolving our clients’ legal needs.
